Holy Cross’ Jordan Naso (Legacy 2022/ St. Anthonys) went 9/14, 64% facing off, with 6 GB’s in a 15-8 loss to Loyola University (Md.).
Duke fogo Jake Naso (Legacy 2020/ St. Anthonys) won 14/34 faceoffs, many in critical times of the game to help the Blue Devils to a 16-14 win over previously #1 ranked Virginia. With the win the Blue Devils sit atop the USILA Coaches poll as the #1 team in Division 1.
Princeton short stick defensive midfielder Joe Juengerkes (Legacy 2020/ Islip) picked up a ground ball while playing lock down defense on Brown University’s midfielders in Princeton’s 16-12 win over Brown on Saturday. Short stick defensive midfielder Ryan Behrens (Legacy 2021/West Islip) caused a turnover and added a ground ball in the loss for Brown.
Behrens scored a goal, picked up 3 gbs, and caused a turnover in Browns 13-11 win over Villanova on Monday.
Midfielder Ethan Insigna (Legacy 2020/ Wantagh) chipped in with a goal in Binghamton’s 21-10 win over UMass Lowell.
Lehigh Midfielder Freddie Amato (Legacy 2020/ Pente Vedra, Fl.) had a goal and picked up 2 ground balls in the Mountain Hawks 15-9 win over Lehigh Valley and Patriot League rival Lafayette.
Midfielder Matthew Scully’s (Legacy 2019/ Kings Park) goal helped the Manhattan Jaspers to a 12-5 win over the Bobcats of Quinnipiac. Scully also scooped up 2 gbs in the win.
Sacred Heart Attackman Sal Miccio (Legacy 2020/ Northport) had 2 goals and an assist in the Pioneers 10-9 victory over MAAC foe Long Island University. Miccio added 2 goals and 2 assists in SHU’s loss to Marist on Wednesday. Miccio currently leads the Pioneers in assists and points, and is second on the team in goals scored.
Division 2
Marco Tantillo (Legacy 2021/Lindenhurst) had 5 caused turnovers and 5 gbs for the Limestone Saints in a 19-4 rout of the Coker Cobras.
John Raucci (Legacy 2022/ Seaford) added his 12th goal of the season and picked up a ground ball in St. Leo’s 23-7 victory of Palm Beach Atlantic.
Dominican College LSM Joey DiGregorio (Legacy 2022/ Lindenhurst) picked up 3 gbs in a 10-7 loss to St.Thomas Aquinas. DiGregorio also went 1/3 facing off.
Division 3
Cortland midfielder Ryan Smith (Legacy 2021/ East Islip) scored a goal and added an assist in the Red Dragons win Saturday over SUNYAC foe SUNY Potsdam. Midfielder Nick Stoecker ( Legacy 2022/ Ward Melville) added 2 assists for Cortland in the win. Smith (Legacy 2021/ East Islip) also chipped in with a goal in the Red Dragons 13-8 loss to 3rd ranked RIT on Thursday.
SUNY New Paltz midfielder Ethan Scully (Legacy 2021/ Bay Shore) had himself a day against St.Josephs College (LI). Scully scored a goal and added 6 assists for the Hawks in a 17-5 victory. Midfielder Brandon Ortiz (Legacy 2022/Massapequa) picked up 3 ground balls and LSM Owen Craker (Legacy 2022/Lindenhurst) picked up 2 in the win.
Muhlenberg midfielder Andrew Sellitto (Legacy 2021/Hauppauge) continued his hot start to his sophomore campaign by adding 2 goals and an assist in the Mules 12-9 win over Washinton College.
Attackman Peter Traina (Legacy 2021/Westhampton Beach) scored a goal in the Wolves 15-6 win over Plymouth State.
Freshman midfielder Andy Eads (Legacy 2022/ St. Anthony’s) scored a goal for Vassar in a 17-12 loss to Stockton. Eads scooped up 2 gbs in the loss as well.
