Ethan Insigna (Legacy 2020/ Wantagh) had 2 goals, 2 Assists, and 2 gbs in a 17-16 win for the Binghamton Bearcats over NJIT.

Boston University attackman Vince D’Alto (Legacy 2020/ Kings Park) had a goal and 2 assists in a 15-12 win over Harvard to keep the crown as the Kings of Boston lacrosse. D’Alto chipped in with 2 more goals on Saturday in a 12-10 win over Patriot League for Lafayette.

Brown University’s Ryan Behrens (Legacy 2021/West Islip) added another goal in transition in a 10-9 loss to New England rival UMass.

Jake Naso (Legacy 2020/ St.Anthony’s) had himself a day on Saturday against one of the top FOGO’s in the country winning 15/24 faceoffs for a 63% winning percentage, picked up 3 gbs, and scored goal in a 12-9 win over St. Joes.

UNC Goalkeeper Colin Krieg (Legacy 2020/ Ward Melville) continues to be rock solid in cage for the Tarheels. Krieg made 9 saves in a 25-8 win over Providence on Wednesday and followed that up with a 14 Save performance on Saturday in a 16-9 win over High Point.

Division 2

 

Freshman Joseph DiGregorio (Legacy 2022/ Lindenhurst) was all over the field for the Dominican Chargers this weekend with 3 takeaways to go with 3 gbs in a 15-6 loss to The College of Saint Rose.

St. Leo midfielder John Raucci ( Legacy 2022/ Seaford) had 3 assists and a ground ball in a 16-8 win for the Lions over the Florida Institute of Technology.

Division 3

 

Ryan Smith (Legacy 2021/ East Islip) had 1 goal on 2 shots and Nick Stoecker (Legacy 2022/Ward Melville) added a ground ball in an 18-10 win for the Red Dragons of Cortland over Skidmore on Wednesday. Smith followed that performance up with a goal and an assist in an 18-12 loss to SUNY Geneseo on Saturday.

Defender Louis Cappellino (Legacy 2019/ Kings Park) had an assist, 3 ground balls and a takeaway as well as some stellar defensive play in a 16-12 loss for Hartwick to Alfred University.

Muhlenbergs Andrew Sellitto (Legacy 2021/ Hauppauge) continues to make contributions to the Mules all over the field against some of the best teams in the country. Sellitto had 2 goals, an assist, and a ground ball in a 11-10 loss to the 12th ranked Dickinson Red Devils. The Mules currently have two losses on the season by a combined 2 goals to the 3rd and 12th ranked teams in the country.

Sean Wallace (Legacy 2021/ West Babylon) made 12 saves in a 15-12 win for the Cougars of Misericordia vs in state rival Nuemann on Wednesday. Wallace followed that up with a monster 20 save day in a 20-16 loss to Stockton on Saturday.

Farmingdale State continues its hot run to start the season, improving its records to 8-0 on the year after a pair of wins on the week. Tony Kaminskey (Legacy 2020/ Lindenhurst) won 8/21 faceoffs and picked up 2 ground balls in a 11-6 win over Western Connecticut on Wednesday. Kaminskey won 8/17 faceoffs and scooped up 7 gbs on Saturday in a 16-2 win over Alvernia on Saturday. Nick Rizzuto (Legacy 2021/ Connetquot) had a 100% save percentage on the day.

Wesleyan LSM Doug Rabin (Legacy 2022/ Bay Shore) was a nightmare for the Coastguard Academy in the Cardinals 25-7 win over the Bears on Wednesday. Rabin made life miserable for the Bears offense and was a vacuum off the ground, scooping up a game high 6 ground balls on the day.

Utica College’s Jack Hogan (Legacy 2020/ Lindenhurst) won 8/12 faceoffs for the Pioneers in a 9-6 win over Wilkes University.

Peter Traina (Legacy 2021/ Westhampton Beach) scored a goal for Western Connecticut in a 18-9 victory over SUNY Plattsburgh on Saturday.

Ethan Scully (Legacy 2021/ Bay Shore) had a goal for New Paltz in Wednesdays 16-6 win over SUNY Delhi. Ethan improved upon that effort with a goal and 2 assists on Saturday in an 18-9 win over SUNY Plattsburgh.

Freshman Tyler Ruffini (Legacy 2022/Ward Melville) of RPI had a goal in a tough 13-6 loss to nationally ranked Williams on Wednesday. Ruffini added another goal and a ground ball in a 12-9 win over Skidmore on Saturday.
